Sue has always been involved with dogs. She grew up in New York, where her mother raised and showed both Irish Setters and Welsh Corgis in breed, obedience and tracking. Sue's love of dogs continued, as Sue pursued a career as a librarian. 

Sue has participated in obedience competitions with both of her Springer Spaniels, Hank and Rory, winning CD titles on both dogs. Hank earned a breed championship title, shown in the breed ring by Carolyn Barney, Hank's co-owner. Currently, Sue has two dogs of her own, 8 year old springer spaniel, Annie, and 3 year old Parsons Russell Terrier, C.J., Calamity Jane, who lives up to her name while training to become both a top agility and earthdog competitor. Sue is a member of ADPT, and, has attended conferences and workshops.

Mike Coronella

Mike runs Butler Kennels full time. He has had previous careers in the human services industry. Mike has his masters degree in counseling, and is a licensed massage therapist. This unique combination has entitled him to his nickname, "The Dog Whisperer!" He does have a knack for calming down the most skittish dogs!
